NOTICE TO AUTHORS
Original contributions should
be submitted in a file of any standard word processor. Give
full names of authors and their degrees, affiliations, and complete
addresses. Specify the author to whom correspondence and reprint
requests should be sent, and provide his telephone and fax number,
and E mail address.
All authors must sign a printed
copy of the manuscript, to be sent in original to the editor.
Also, they must state that the content of the paper has neither
been published, nor is it currently being or will it be considered
for publication elsewhere. The manuscript should indicate, in
the acknowledgements, if the paper has been presented at a meeting.
Possible conflicts of interest should be disclosed. Include
funding sources in the acknowledgements.
All contributions will be reviewed
by at least two referees.
Contributions should be a maximum
of 4,000 words, exclusive of tabular material. Recommended headings
for the paragraph are Background, Objectives, Methods, Results
and Conclusions. An abstract (maximum of 250 words) should accompany
each article.
Do not spell out (not even 1 to
9) except at the beginning of a sentence. Always use decimal
systems (meters, litres, degrees centigrade, etc.) The use of
copyright or trade names of drugs or of other goods or industrial
products should be avoided; if they are necessary, they should
be capitalised.
References should appear in order
of citation at the end of manuscript, The format of references
should be that of the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted
to Biomedical Journals. References should be cited in the text
by number only.
Black-and-white illustrations
will be reproduced free of charge, although the publisher reserves
the right to establish a reasonable limit to the number so supplied.
If coloured illustrations are desired, they will be published
at the author's expense.
Always use the Times New Roman
font size 11 points (use size 10 points for legends and tables).
All quoted authors will receive free of charge
a copy of the journal. Reprints will be at the author's expenses.
